The Wyvern is a model I designed in March of 2021, and is fairly easy to fold. It was designed based on a bird base, with a head style like that of Jo Nakashima's Dragon V1.
I taught this model for the first time at the British Origami Society's Birmingham meeting, and full diagrams of the model appear in BOM 327 (April 2021). Therefore, I will not be providing diagrams here, but I will be providing a crease pattern, as well as a video tutorial on how to fold it.
This model is suitable for any size, and is foldable with 15 cm kami paper. However, I would recommend a fancier paper like Unryu or Tissue foil, which gives just a little extra prettiness.
If you are a beginner, try it out! There may be a few small challenges but stick with me and you'll make it. If you are experienced, this will be a nice, easy to fold, cute model that one can do in 10-ish minutes.
